The Poetry of Light – Yen Ran

The series is called (Zhu Yng) in Chinese, which means the illusion seen when fabric is washed in water. The entire series depicts the scenes witnessed by a dedicated fabric dyer who works late into the night.

Under the stars and moon, stirring the dye vat repeatedly through soaking and oxidizing processes, a deep indigo is achieved, tranquil and beautiful as the sky above.
